Frequently Ask Questions
What Areas Do You Serve?
Currently, Stamford Portable Restrooms services all towns in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut and parts of Westchester County.
How Many Portable Restrooms Do I Need?
For an event, rental needs will be determined by the number of guests and the length of the event. Our team’s responsibility is to help you decide which model and precisely how many you will need to make your event a success.
OSHA recommends one toilet for every ten workers working a 40-hour week on construction sites. However, additional use by subcontractors and overtime workers can compromise your facility’s long-term performance.
How Far In Advance Should I Book My Restroom?
It is recommended that you reserve your portable toilet rental as far in advance as possible. Reservations one week in advance are usually sufficient; however, warm weather, large events, or peak time of year may require earlier arrangements. Make your reservation a month in advance whenever possible.
Where Can I Put My Restroom Rental?
To properly service the unit, our truck must be able to get within 15 feet of it. Never attempt to move a full unit on your own. All units must be placed on a flat, solid surface. Our team will be able to advise you about where the toilet should be placed when they arrive for delivery.
Is There A Delivery Fee?
Yes, all rentals have a one-time $40 delivery and removal fee.
Am I Required To Have A Portable Toilet On My Jobsite?
On construction sites, whether new builds or renovations, construction companies are obligated under OSHA law to provide access to toilet and sanitation facilities.
Is Payment Required At Time Of Booking?
Yes, effective March 2022 up-front credit card payment is required for the following transactions:
• Any one-time orders under $400
• Any recurring orders that are under $400 per invoice
